What we do
We blend big company capabilities with the personal touch of a smaller company.
We maintain, repair, and install all types of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment and ductwork for residential and commercial applications; with a heavy emphasis on multi-family and property management firms.
since 2016, we’ve been on a mission to actually fix AC systems the right way.
That’s why we named the company TruFix.
It’s not just a catchy name with a hollow meaning. It’s truly the passion of every single one of our team members.
How we do it
It is crazy how many times we have been called out for second opinions only to find that there is nothing wrong with the system other than a disconnected wire.
The list of “required fixes” that was provided to the customer by another contractor were inflated and explained in an overly complicated manner. It seems this is purposely done all in hopes that the customer will opt for an overpriced new system instead.
So what does all this fixing mean? It means we fix what others push to replace.
This requires that we truly diagnose issues. We don’t guess what problems are or invent issues to scare you into a new system.
We also don’t over embellish normal things like a rust spot to try and scare you into buying a new unit. This also seems to be a common tactic for companies whose service techs are paid lucrative sales commissions.
Our team members don’t work for commissions. Their only goals are to get you back up and running as quick as possible and to save you as much money as possible in the process.
So instead of replacing your 12 year old unit that has plenty of life on it, we always encourage repairing it first. Provided it makes sense to do so. And if it is time for a replacement, we make sure to install the new system the right way and at an extremely fair price.
Why we do it
We believe in treating others the same way we want to be treated. That’s why we built the company we would want to hire to work on our own AC systems.
We value doing what’s right no matter the cost. For this reason, we put people over profit.
And to make sure every one of our team members live up to this standard, we diligently only hire people with the character and values that match ours; no exceptions.
To be clear, this life principle is not a concept we invented. We simply follow the one that created everything, Jesus, the Son of God. It was he who said:
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
